Spencer Submits Objection to Evergy Rate Increase
Spencer submitted an objection to the Kansas Corporation Commission regarding Evergy's request for a rate increase. Spencer continues to fight to keep costs down for all Topekans, as he voted against water rate increases, continues to push for property tax reduction and understands now is not the time for an increase in electric rates. Spencer Co-Sponsors Jack Alexander Honor
Jack Alexander, long time public servant and Topeka icon, will have the city's water facility named after him. Spencer co-sponsored the resolution, along with Councilmembers David Banks and Sylvia Ortiz. Learn more about Jack here. Read the resolution here.
Spencer Releases Transparency Initiative
